Here’s some really awesome older house tunes that have been making me feel real good. They just don’t make em like they used to. Well I guess sometimes they still do. Sorry for the poor sound quality, it was the best I could do. Enjoy.

Look at all those buttons
I was listening to Astro Unicorn Radio the other day and this sweet ass track came on. I instantly looked it up and was pleased to see that it was part of an album filled with even more sweet tracks! Voyage Direct is Tom Trago’s Debut album and is partially comprised of singles he’s released over the last few years. From start to finish, this album rocks and has an amazing variety of track styles. If I had to compare it to anyone, I would say If Mark E, Omar S and New World Aquarium got together it might sound something like Voyage Direct. Tom Trago is from Amsterdam and you should buy his album here.

The Parallax Corporation in The Parallax View
If your an Intergalactic FM or CBS listener, you’ll know these two robots well. I-f aka the brains behind Intergalactic FM and Intergalactic gary who is also a key Robot in the IFM word combine musical powers to form The Parallax Corporation. Part Electro, italo, Disco, and House, this shit is unstopably raw and will probably beat up your other records if left in the same pile or crate. It has a sound that could only come out The Hague. Here are a few of my favorites + an awsome cover/remix of thier track Crocodiles in the Sky by The legendary Fred Ventura and Columbo.
Doesn’t Anti Social Tendancies remind you of In Flangranti? But this shit came out in 2000!
The Parallax Corporation - Anti Social Tendancies
The Parallax Corporation - Slowflight Runner
The Parallax Corporation - Lift Off
The Parallax Corporation - Burning Ignorance

Now thats what I call Metallic.
I guess I’ve been in some sort of metallic house mood for the last week and a half. All the tracks I’ve been into have this cool metallic sound around them with a warm soulful glow in the middle.
First up is a track I ripped from the Smackos Astro Unicorn radio show on CBS called Time After Time by a Finnish fellow named Kimmo Rapatti AKA Mono Junk. It’s a very unique track and I’m not quite sure how to describe it so I’ll just let you hear what Smackos has to say about it at the end of the track. I think he nails it pretty damn well.
Kimmo Rapatti - Time After Time
Next up is Flight of the Jupiter, an acidic techno house space jam through metallic anolog worm holes by the man himself, Legowelt. It’s off one of his newer records called Vatos Locos which you can find at junorecords.com or junodownloads.com Highly recomended, this man never dissapoints!
Legowelt - Flight of the Jupiter
I bought a $tinkworx record a few years ago and have only recently realized how kick ass he actualy is. Once again I’m at a loss for words to describe the sound, Deep house glowing techno disco electric metallic funk just doesn’t quite do it justice. I’d recommend picking up any or all of his records. Check it!
